Yahoo! today introduced a new and updated version of its toolbar for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer users. The new toolbar also comes to Google Chrome for the first time. The toolbar lets the users quickly access Yahoo services like search, mail, weather, flickr and news. The new toolbar also lets the users access social networks like Facebook and Tumblr.
Browser toolbars have certainly been the thing of the past, they were extensively used when Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 6 (which used to come by default with Windows XP) was a dominant force in the browser market. But now browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, safari and even the latest versions of I.E i.e., 9.0 & 10.o all have incorporated most of the features with in the browser which earlier only used to come in the form of an external toolbar. The browsers these days are extremely powerful allowing the users to install extensions or adons & even apps which can make life a lot easier. Gone are the days when installing a toolbar on the browser was handy, these days people find it annoying. However you can get the new yahoo! Toolbar for your browser at toolbar.yahoo.com.
