If Dropbox has been your go to cloud storage service then you have some real good news. Life’s gonna be a lot more easier with Dropbox!
Dropbox now allows you to edit and manage any dropbox link opened on your mobile in-app on your android and iOS devices. So you need not go to a browser on your phone to view it. You can do a whole lot more as it will be easy for you to save the file in the dropbox link received to any folder of your choice in your account, or if the file was already saved to your Dropbox, it will take you right to it in the app so you can do more with it – like move the file, rename it, or favorite it for offline access.
If you have a Microsoft office file (word, powerpoint, excel), you can edit it directly using the office apps installed on your device. Dropboxing is certainly filling up all the gaps with the addition of these basic & key features that every user looks for in a cloud storage service and is now becoming a lot more powerful as it is set to be gearing up for an IPO sometime this year. All these features will be rolling out on Dropbox’s iOS and android apps in the next few days.
Earlier last week, dropbox also made it easy for you to add an attachment on your gmail with the introduction of a new chrome addon.
