Microsoft seems to have learnt a lesson after lot of criticism from its users for not having the start button in the Windows 8 OS. Microsoft is all set to bring back the famous start button in Windows 8.1, the first OS update for Windows 8 users. The updated OS windows 8.1 is all set to hit the market on October 18th.
The latest Windows 8.1 ad by Microsoft which is part of their “Windows Everywhere” campaign highlights the start button which is all set to make a come back in its latest OS. The ad also highlights the new “boot to desktop” i.e., an option for the users to start up to the desktop and the ability for the users to hit the start button to flip back and forth between desktop and “Metro” screen. The ad clearly shows that these changes and the os update is coming to its variety of devices such as Windows tablet, PC, and Surface.
